For Epicor Kinetic ¹

Most of Epicor's
value never leaves
the screen.

TalkERP is the operational brain for Epicor — reading, reasoning, and remembering across your ERP, your bank, your email, and your documents. The longer your team uses it, the more it learns.

02 · The unwritten

Every Epicor shop runs on knowledge that was never written down.

Your best controller

knows which customers always pay by credit card.

Your senior plant manager

knows which job specs need a second look before they leave drafting.

Your purchasing lead

knows which vendor consistently ships short — and which one is reliable through any storm.

None of that lives in Epicor.

It lives in people's heads. Sticky notes. Shared inboxes no one searches anymore. When someone is out sick, things fall through the cracks. When someone retires after a career on the floor, your operation walks out the door with them.

TalkERP captures it.
All of it.
And it doesn't forget.

Case study · 01 of 01Design partner Amtrend CorporationSector Custom furniture · hospitalityLocation Fullerton, CA

Designed by an operator. Not a software company.

TalkERP wasn't built in a vacuum. It was built with Amtrend Corporation as design partner — a 45-year-old custom furniture manufacturer in Fullerton, California, where the founder runs Epicor every day.

The operator

Amtrend Corporation has been making custom furniture for hospitality brands for 45 years — the kind of operation where a single rush order can swing a quarter, and where the controller, the plant manager, and the purchasing lead each carry decades of context that lives nowhere in Epicor.

The CFO needed a tool that could answer the questions a working operator actually asks — across the ERP, the bank, the inbox, and the shop floor. When the off-the-shelf options couldn't, he built TalkERP — first to solve Amtrend's own operational problem, then as a product anyone running Epicor could use.

Today TalkERP runs live at Amtrend with 25 users across the floor and the front office. Since launch earlier this year, the system has been processing roughly ~1,000 queries per month against live Epicor data.

I built TalkERP because I wanted one conversation — with our ERP, our bank, our inbox, our documents — instead of four different tabs and four different searches. Every feature in the product has to earn its place against that test in our own shop first.

03 · How it learns

Each question becomes part of what it knows.

Most ERP tools answer your question and forget it. TalkERP answers, then files what it learned — your vocabulary, your tolerances, your people, your exceptions — into your operation's permanent memory.

04 · The four pillars

Four things your ERP can't do on its own.

Every Epicor shop runs on knowledge that was never written down — and on connections between systems that were never built. TalkERP is purpose-built for both.

01Pillar one

read.

Live Epicor data, in plain English.

TalkERP reads your live Epicor Kinetic data across 55 specialized read agents across 10 operational areas. Ask any operational question — orders, jobs, AR aging, cash position, customer 360, job costs vs. estimate — and get the answer in seconds.

02Pillar two

reason.

Across systems, not just within one.

Your work doesn't only happen in Epicor. TalkERP reasons across your ERP, your bank, your email, and your documents in a single conversation. Ask about a customer balance and TalkERP will check the order, the deposit, the bank credit, and the email thread where the AR clerk promised the wire — in one answer.

One question · multiple systems · one answer

04
Microsoft 365

Synthesis

03Pillar three

analyze.

Answers the way an operator would explain them.

Cash position, profitability by customer, late jobs, AR risk, slow payers, job cost variance, backlog by week. TalkERP doesn't just retrieve numbers — it analyzes them, flags what matters, and explains them the way a working CFO would.

Retrieval is a commodity. Synthesis is the product.

BriefingHospitality · Q3

Summary

Hospitality revenue up +12% YoY through Q3. Margin slipped 2.4 points on labor variance.

What matters

  • 01A hospitality customer absorbed multiple rush jobs last month. Margin on rush: negative.
  • 02AR aging stable — average days-to-pay near the long-run mean.
  • 03Backlog is deep enough that constraint is capacity, not demand.
RecommendationRaise the rush surcharge. The last increase landed without pushback.

04Pillar four

connect.

The systems where your work actually lives.

Bank reconciliation through Plaid. Email and calendar through Microsoft 365. PDF parsing for vendor statements, shop drawings, and spec sheets. TalkERP connects to the systems where your work actually lives — and we're adding connectors as customers ask for them.

Be one of the
first five.

5

Founder seats remainOne operator per shop. Reviewed by the founder, not a sales team.

TalkERP is built for a specific kind of operator: someone running Epicor in a real shop, who knows exactly what they want their ERP to answer and is tired of waiting for it. The first 5 get to shape what we build next.

What you get

  • 01

A working tool on day one.

Connect your Epicor Kinetic instance and start asking questions. Full access to all 55 read agents across 10 operational areas.

  • 02

    Pricing locked for 3 years.

Founder-cohort pricing applies for 36 months from your signing date. No renewal increases, no surprise enterprise tiers. Standard pricing applies after.

  • 03

A direct line to the founder.

Bugs, requests, and questions go directly to the CFO who built this. Average response: under 4 hours during business days.

  • 04

A connector built for your shop.

If your operation runs on a system we haven't connected yet — a proprietary scheduler, a custom CRM, a specific bank — we will build the connector for you. One per cohort member.

What we ask

  • 01

    You actually use it.

Not a pilot that sits in IT for six months. Real questions from real operators, weekly. We are not interested in shelfware.

  • 02

    A 30-minute call, once a month.

Tell us what worked, what broke, and what you wish it could do. Your roadmap input gets priority over the broader backlog.

  • 03

    Permission to tell your story.

If TalkERP works for you, let us name you publicly when you are ready. Specifics over generalities — we are not asking for a logo, we are asking for a story.

  • 04

    Run Epicor Kinetic.

Public Cloud or on-premise, 2024.x or 2025.x. If you are on older Vantage or ERP 10 versions, talk to us — we may still be a fit.

If that sounds like your shop, introduce yourself.
